Happy Mother's Day/Hunter's Birthday

A little late... I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I know I sure did! I got to spend it with the people I love most in this world, my family. We actually hung out together all day. Those of you with one teenage boy let alone two, knows what a feat that was. I got to pick our lunch spot and I of course picked my favorite... Waterfront Grill.

This is why I love this place so, I swear I could eat it everyday. It's blackened catfish with a stuffed potato. Yum, just looking at it makes me want to go there again. Hey I think I have a birthday coming up real soon.

This was my favorite part of the day, when we arrived they told us it would be a 45 minute wait unless we wanted to go out on the deck to eat. The weather was nice so we said why not!! Good choice, Maddi stayed entertained and had the freedom to walk and dance around all she wanted.

Cool view huh? Want to know they are looking at? It's our entertainment for the afternoon.

And boy did they provide entertainment. Needless to say Don and I owe those turtles and ducks alot, so much so that we let Maddi feed them till they were about to POP!!!

The restaurant is on the Bayou. It has a wonderful view, you can even call and book their partybarge and you and several friends get to dine while you float down the bayou!

I however chose to stay put and enjoy moments like this. These are just some of the moments when i'm glad Maddi has much older siblings. How precious are these pictures. There's nothing sweeter than this bond!!!

Maddi would have spent the night if we would have let her. She loved watcing the water and all the animals that she saw. It was a very relaxing lunch. Although, she has probaly been spoiled. The next restaurant we go to, she will have to stay in her seat!

By the way, how cute are these boots? I even monogramed them myself. I have others, I will have to have her model them.

I couldn't be more blessed. I have three great childen, a husband that adores me, and one very sweet angel looking out for me and my family. My cup runneth over!

I had to throw this one in too, just another sweet moment. I love those boys!!!

PS..... Guess who turned 15 today? You guessed it and along with 15 comes a driving permit. If your on the roads, look out, here comes Hunter!! Happy birthday Hunter Bunter. I love you so much and i'm very proud of the young man you have grown into.

by the way this is someone not looking forward to the driving permit, because as long as Hunter's driving, I have to be in the front seat. He has figured out that his days of front seat riding are drawing near and far. Oh the important things we worry about!

So glad you enjoyed your sweet day! That picture of Jake really got me! I knew to expect it, but I don't think I was really ready, you know?! Love that child! I need those boots Maddi is wearing, but with a B, k!!!! Seriously! Oh, and I have a 07 Tahoe for sale if Hunter needs a Tahoe for his first car......;) Looks like such a fun time at a fun place. I know it means so much to have your sweet children and a doting husband. Isn't life wonderful?!!!!

Looking at the pictures of your boys with Maddi brings back memories. My brothers were in high school when I was born. They spoiled me rotten. They took me nearly everytime they went somewhere. Maddi is a doll so how can they resist?! Glad you had a nice Mother's Day.

My goodness...that restaurant looks wonderful! I would have enjoyed eating outside like that...well, as long as there were no hungry alligators around!

I loved the pics of your children. Hunter and Hayden are growing up sooo fast. They are so sweet with their little sister.

Having been a mother of two teen boys (our oldest is 21 now), I know exactly what you are going through! Family time IS hard to come by with teens...especially once they get their driver's license.

You made my day with the picture of Jake...such a precious boy!

I'm glad you had a great day. :o)

I had to laugh to myself when I saw it was ducks and other MILD MANNERED water "animals"! Now you know I LOVE MADDI BOOTS! How did you monogram them? DO TELL!! We have over 10pair for my little one!! SHE LOVES HER SOME BOOTS!!!! I love seeing the pictures of the kids and have to give a shout out to HUNTER!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNTER!!!

Mine turned 15 in January, and the driving permit, kinda stressful for Mom. I just remind myself that this means they can do some driving theirselves and the brother around when I don't want to go.

Happy Mother's Day - Loved the pics of the kids and Jakipoo!

Hey, I think that is the restaurant that Mo brought Suzi and I to! Can you believe that has almost been 2 year already? And I can not believe that is Hunter behind the wheel. They grow up much too fast. You look marvelous, Staci. Happy Belated Mother's Day to you. Miss you all to pieces.

Happy Mothers Day to you too! Small tears as I got down to Jake pic. Gosh, he and Madi look so much alike! Sweet sweet babies you have. I see Hunter at the ball field and can't believe how "manly" he looks now. :)They grow too fast!

I have a 15 year old and a 20 month old-the bond the two of them have is by far the neatest thing to watch. My oldest also just got her permit. Fun times! I can totally relate to this post of yours. It's a fun ride, isn't it?

Staci--Glad to see your updates!! You're right--your cup runneth over! Mine does too--but sometimes I get caught up in the frustrations of day-to-day life, and tend to forget how blessed I really am! Thanks for reminding me. I love to read about your family. I hope you have a wonderful birthday!! I'm sure Jake will be doing his part to make sure it's great!
